Paper SUBMISSION

Submitted papers should be original and contain contributions of theoretical, experimental or application nature, or be unique experience reports. Please read the “Review Criteria and Policy” section for details. Papers must be submitted within the stipulated time and electronic submission in PDF is required. The page limit for a full-length paper is 6 pages. Short papers describing novel research visions, work-in-progress or less mature results are also welcome, with a minimum limit of 3 pages. Papers less than 3 pages will not be reviewed and may be rejected outright. Papers should contain up 5 to 8 keywords.

Authors can submit their papers through electronic system.

Page limit is 6 pages (including figures and references). All papers for the conference must be submitted in PDF format. Submission is not anonymous. Authors’ name etc. are not required to be hidden. CAMERA READY COPY

The authors of the accepted papers will be allowed to make a correction in accordance with the suggestions of the reviewers and submit final camera-ready papers within the stipulated deadline. The conference proceedings will be distributed amongst the participants during the conference. Accepted papers must be presented by author(s) personally to be published in the conference proceedings.

REVIEW CRITERIA& POLICY

Papers will be evaluated for originality, significance, clarity, and soundness, and will be reviewed by at least two independent reviewers who have no conflict of interest. Papers will be reviewed for the following:
Originality: All papers must present original work. Authors should clearly articulate how the contribution relates to other works in the fields of study. Submissions should not have been previously published or be under simultaneous review for any other conference or journal.
Novelty: The COMMUNE-2015 conference is the place for innovative ideas. We welcome ‘big idea’, technical papers, and innovative ideas even if they may not have be perfectly implemented yet. We also welcome papers that bring together subfields. Besides, anti-plagiarism software tools shall be used to check the content novelty.
Relevance: We invite broad participation. We welcome research in any relevant area; however, all papers must be relevant to the fields of computer, communication, electronics engineering.
Soundness: A paper needs to be technologically/methodologically sound based on the criteria generally used for that technology/method within a given field.
Methodological flexibility: We recognize that different methods provide different ways of generating important knowledge. Thus we want to emphasize that we will treat all methods as valid a priori and evaluate each of them based on the contribution that they make to the respective field.
For technical papers, please provide adequate details to understand what was developed. Moreover, please provide evaluations commonly used in a given field as well as a path to “feasibility”.
For empirical papers, please provide adequate detail to understand what was done, how the data were collected, etc.
Reviewers from the relevant fields will be involved in the review process of all submitted papers. Authors will also be invited and are strongly encouraged to participate in the review process.A reviewer who has conflict of interest for one of the co-authors of a paper will not review that paper. Please decline the review request if you have a conflict of interest for the assigned paper. The PC member in charge will find an alternative reviewer. A “conflict of interest” for COMMUNE2015 is any of the following: i) Ph.D. thesis supervisor, mentor, advisor or advisee, ii) Postdoctoral supervisor, mentor, advisor or advisee, iii) having research collaborations or co-authors for the past 12 months, iv) any other individual or institution with which the author has financial ties.

PROCEEDINGS
The Conference Proceedings will be published in the form of CD and printed book with ISBN 978-93-82288-54-1. All accepted papers shall be archived online in reputed digital library. Based on the quality of the paper, selected authors will be invited to submit extended versions of the paper and will be published in some journal or book,. At least one author of each accepted paper must register for the conference before the indicated deadline to ensure publication of paper in the conference proceedings.
